NETSETGO 8 - 9 YEARS "GO" COMPETITION

JOIN A CLUB, BE IN A TEAM – TRAIN & PLAY MODIFIED MATCHES ON SATURDAYS

Woolworths NetSetGo is netball’s official starter program for kids aged five to 10.  A chance to learn the netty basics, Woolworths NetSetGO helps kids gain confidence, get active and make friends in a safe and inclusive environment. The program is divided up into three tiers: Net, Set and GO. Where you begin depends on your age and netball experience, but there’s no skill level required to get started.

Randwick Netball Association (RNA) conducts a NetSetGo “GO” Winter Saturday competition for girls and boys turning 7 to 9 years.  NetSetGo “GO” develops specific skills through modified match play that has kids ready for the real thing! It is non-competitive, scores are not kept and no finals played.

Players register with a club via the PlayHQ online system, (fees vary from club to club). To see the clubs within RNA please click here: https://www.randwicknetball.com.au/club-contacts/

Players usually train during the week and wear uniforms when playing on Saturday. Games are always at Heffron Park netball courts on Saturdays at the same time each week (2024 game times to be published when fixtures are set).

RNA has prepared a handbook for all teams and coaches playing in the 8 Years and 9 Years NetSetGo Winter competititons.

This includes Rules, training session plans and lots of other information.
