Hello and welcome!
Whether you’ve just discovered netball or you’ve been dreaming of pulling on a bib for years, we are absolutely delighted you’ve found your way to us. Randwick Netball Association is one of the largest netball association in New South Wales, and we like to think we’re also one of the warmest. From our tiniest five-year-olds taking their very first steps in NetSetGo, right through to our elite Premier League athletes, every single player here is part of one big, caring netball family.
Randwick Netball Association (RNA) has a proud history of community participation, player development and sporting excellence. Established in 1969, RNA has grown from its early beginnings at Raleigh Park into a leading netball association based at Heffron Park, serving thousands of players, officials, volunteers, clubs and families each year.
Our colours of green and white have long been associated with Randwick, reflecting a strong tradition, a vibrant identity and a lasting connection to the local community. Over more than five decades, RNA has built a reputation not only for competition and representative success, but also for fostering inclusive participation, leadership, teamwork and a lifelong love of netball.
Today, RNA is a thriving association with more than 4,500 members, over 450 teams and participation across clubs, schools, representative pathways, men’s netball and all-abilities programs. Based at Heffron Park, RNA continues to expand and improve its facilities to support the growing demand for netball in the eastern suburbs, where it is recognised as the single largest attended community sporting activity during the winter season.
RNA has a proud legacy of achievement at local, state, national and international levels. The association has produced outstanding players, coaches, umpires and administrators, including Australian Diamonds representatives, Australian Kelpies representatives, Hall of Fame inductees, Life Members and award-winning contributors to the sport. RNA has also played an important role in elite pathways through partnerships such as UTS Randwick Sparks, helping create opportunities for players, coaches and officials to progress to higher levels of netball.
At its heart, Randwick Netball Association is about community. Our success has been built on the dedication of generations of volunteers, executives, clubs, officials, supporters, sponsors and partners who have helped shape RNA into the strong, inclusive and forward-looking association it is today. We honour that history while continuing to grow the game and create opportunities for future generations.
